MOMENTS

Create a moment for Valentine's Day

Valentine's day means something different to everyone.  Some see it as a bit cheesy; others take months to plan the perfect day. At Kez's we love a melting moment (pardon the pun) whatever your taste why not share a moment with your special someone this Valentine's day with these ideas to create a little romance.

Our picks for a romantic summer night in Melbourne are, A Midsummer Night's Dream under the stars at the Royal Botanical Gardens. Pack a picnic or grab some dinner there and enjoy the gold class experience.

Or a cruise down the Yarra on a Gondola with ‘Venice on the Yarra' followed by a gorgeous dinner at any of your favourite restaurants. You might even get a bit nostalgic and visit a restaurant that means something to you, like that place you went on for your first date!

Sydney-siders can row -row -row -your-way-to -romance on beautiful little love themed boats across Cockle Bay, watch the sunset and enjoy the surrounds of Darling Harbour.

Or try something a little different with a three-course dinner and an ‘Opera Bites' performance. The performance features beautiful tunes from opera's such as Carmen and La Boheme, don't worry you won't get lost trying to understand the storyline, some witty narration will keep you entertained throughout the show.

Brisbane couples should head to Mt Coot -Tha, pack dinner or book the lookout restaurant for gorgeous views overlooking Brisbane, only 25 minutes from the CBD, you'll be back before the babysitter gets restless.

Don't fancy going out for dinner? Why not start your day with a Valentine breakfast at Billy Kart or any number of Brisbane's great breakfast cafes for a coffee and a fresh start to the day with your love.

Perth has got romance sorted with a romantic tour of the stars at the Perth Observatory on Valentine's day. For something a little adventurous, hop on a super cute horse and carriage and sip wine from local vineyards on tour through the Swan Valley.

Keep it casual in Adelaide with a flick under the night sky. Rent a chair, pack a picnic or enjoy the food truck vibes while enjoying 'The Greatest Showman' screening at the Moonlight Cinemas.

For those serious Valentine couples, head out for dinner and then onto ‘lock in love' in Hutts street.  Raise money for the Heart Foundation by buying hearts and locks to attach to the LOVE art installation, BYO romance!

Still not sure what to do, you can always stay in, share a meal or even a picnic in the yard, no matter how small, it's the thought that counts, the moments we create together that mean the most.

Happy Valentine’s Day.
