Keep the blues at bay with these indulgent ideas to get you through winter.
Soak it up
Take some time out from the humdrum, light a candle and have yourself a long hot bath with essential oils. Lavender, chamomile or rose oils are particularly beautiful for relaxation. Add a couple of drops of each of these to a carrier oil such as coconut oil, then once your bath is full add the oil mixture and enjoy.
Have a laugh
Have some guilt-free ‘me time' cuddle up on the couch with a couple of comedies. A good belly laugh in winter is a great way to lift your mood and relax your body. Some research also suggests that it can help immunity, so if you feel a cold coming on, maybe you should put a comedy on.
Eat, drink be merry
Roasted chestnuts and mulled wine are particularly beautiful treats during the winter months. Set a fire up in the backyard, invite some friends over and enjoy some seasonal treats like mulled wine mulled and roasted chestnuts.

Book yourself into a day spa or hot springs venue and get yourself an exfoliation and massage. If you have the time and the budget why not get a spray tan as well, it will make you feel and look great.
