Spring has finally sprung and now's the time to say hello to longer, brighter days and some (much overdue!) warmer weather. It's enough to put a real spring in our step!
With the change of season comes a change of pace, and we can't wait to get back out there and enjoy some of the activities we've missed over the cooler months.
Need a little inspiration? Here are a couple of our favourite things to do in spring:
Explore your City
After all those rainy weekends with the family cooped up indoors, it's time to get back out there. For something a little different, why not try a walking tour? No matter how well you think you know the place you live, you'll be surprised by how many new things there are to discover... Melbourne's chocolate walking tour is a favourite with our family!
Have a picnic
Nothing beats the great outdoors, especially when you pair it with delicious food and good company! When it comes to picnics, the more really is the merrier so extend the invite to friends and family, take your favourite outdoor games or a few magazines, and stretch out on that rug. Try out a new salad recipe, pack some sandwiches or simply stop by the local grocers on the way to pick up a selection of fruit, cheese, crackers and pickles. Don't forget the treats!
Go to the zoo
The zoo offers a great combo of fun and education, plus you get a good few hours of walking and fresh air. Spring is a particularly nice time to visit too, with the warm weather coaxing most of the animals out of hiding. What's more, If you're lucky, you might even get to see a few new additions -'tis the season, after all!
